Why we built it
Why NexaHealth keeps one record
NexaHealth started with one idea. The most useful thing a health service can hold is everything that happened before today. So every consultation you book, across all eleven care areas, is written up in the same record. Your practitioner reads it before your call.
- Eleven care areas, from medical certificates to chronic disease management
- Live video with a qualified Australian practitioner, 7 am to 10 pm AEST
- Your notes, results and care plan kept in one record
Our mission
Care you can reach from home
Our mission is to make ongoing care reachable from anywhere in Australia. How far you live from a clinic should not decide how closely your health is followed. Consultations run 7 am to 10 pm AEST, every day, and every price is listed before you book.
- Available Australia-wide, 7 am to 10 pm AEST, every day
- Every price listed before you book, medication billed separately
- Two memberships: Essential at $29 a month, Continuity at $79 a month

Continuity of care
What happens after the first consultation

About NexaHealth
What is NexaHealth?
NexaHealth is an Australian telehealth service covering eleven care areas. They run from medical certificates and repeat prescription reviews through to mental health, women's and men's health, chronic disease management and healthy ageing. Every consultation is a live video conversation with a qualified Australian practitioner, and it is written up in one record.
Who will I speak with?
You speak with a practitioner who is qualified and registered to practise in Australia, by live video. Your practitioner reads your NexaHealth record before the call, listens to what is going on, and writes up the outcome afterwards. The same record is used across every NexaHealth service.
Does NexaHealth replace my regular GP?
No. NexaHealth works alongside your regular GP and the rest of your usual care. With your consent, your NexaHealth practitioner can share the outcome of a consultation with your GP, so your care stays coordinated. You can keep seeing your regular GP as often as you normally would.
What does NexaHealth cost?
NexaHealth memberships are $29 a month for Essential and $79 a month for Continuity, and this pricing is indicative. You can also book a one-off consultation without joining a membership. Prices exclude any prescribed medication, which is billed separately. Every price is shown before you book.
Is telehealth right for me?
Telehealth is not suitable for all health concerns. Depending on your circumstances, your practitioner may recommend an in-person assessment, urgent care, a GP review, a referral to another doctor, further investigation or no treatment. If your situation is urgent, call 000. For crisis support, call Lifeline on 13 11 14.
