NexaHealth provides healthcare via telehealth. The information on this website is general in nature and is not a substitute for individual medical advice, diagnosis or treatment from a qualified health practitioner.
General information only
Content on this website is provided for general information and does not take into account your individual health, circumstances or needs. You should not rely on it as a substitute for a consultation with a qualified practitioner. Always seek the advice of your doctor or another qualified health professional with any questions you have about a medical condition.
A consultation is required
A live consultation with a qualified practitioner is required before any treatment is recommended. A prescription, referral, test or treatment is only one possible outcome of a consultation, where clinically appropriate. Your practitioner may instead recommend advice, lifestyle support, monitoring, further investigation, an in-person assessment or no treatment.
Telehealth is not always suitable
Telehealth is not appropriate for all health concerns. Depending on your circumstances, your practitioner may recommend an in-person assessment, urgent care, a GP review, a referral to another doctor or further investigation.
No advertising of prescription medicines
In accordance with Australian regulatory requirements, we do not advertise specific prescription-only medicines to the public. Any reference to treatment is general and does not name or promote specific prescription products.
In an emergency
Our services are not for emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 000 immediately. For crisis support, call Lifeline on 13 11 14.
