Is this right for you?
A video consultation may suit everyday concerns that do not need a physical examination. If your GP feels an in-person assessment would serve you better, they will say so during the call.
Telehealth may suit you if
Better seen in person if
Telehealth is not suitable for every health concern. Your practitioner may instead recommend in-person assessment, urgent care, a GP review, a referral to another doctor, further investigation or no treatment.
A prescription, referral or test is one possible outcome, only where your practitioner considers it clinically appropriate.
Results vary from person to person. An assessment does not guarantee any particular outcome.

Everyday health concerns that can reasonably be discussed by video. Common reasons include coughs and colds, skin concerns, pain, sleep, digestion and general health questions. Your GP will tell you if your concern needs an in-person examination, and can point you towards the right care instead.
No. A prescription is one possible outcome of a consultation, and only where your GP considers it clinically appropriate for you. A consultation may instead lead to advice, monitoring, lifestyle support, a test, a referral, or no treatment at all. What you book is the consultation itself.
Long enough to talk your concern through. Your GP will not rush a clinical decision. If your concern needs more time than one appointment allows, they will say so, and can arrange a follow-up consultation so the thread is picked up where it stopped.
With your consent, your practitioner can share what was discussed with your usual GP, so your care stays joined up. Your consultation notes also stay in your NexaHealth record. The next practitioner you speak with can see them alongside the rest of your history.
